Hi! I'm Rob. This is my wife, Jan. Together we're a couple of adventurous, empty nesters embarked on a road trip of a lifetime. Having lived in three countries, four states, two provinces, and traveled everywhere in between, we're jazzed to have the opportunity to visit 50 national parks as we make our latest move to New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Before I became a published photographer and writer, I spent 30 years in marketing where I developed my writing and planning skills. The photography bug really bit me while living in Europe and working for the International Olympic Committee. Since then, I've exhibited, sold and published photography all over Colorado. I'm also a contributing author to the book, Playing the Game by former PGA Tour pro Wally Armstrong.

- Likes: finance investing, history, period novels, great movies, photography, writing, and the great outdoors.
- Once took 5,000 pictures during a trip to New Zealand and Australia.
- Has risked life and limb for the perfect shot.
- Skied in Finland above the artic circle.
- Has a crazy fear of heights.


Being married to Rob is quite a feat considering 35 years of marriage have taken me to 30 different residences! Let's just say, I've developed a knack for turning any space into a home in short order. So, it's no surprise that I'm the organization fanatic of our family. And those skills are getting quite the workout planning everything needed for seven months on the road. But, I'm up for the challenge. As Rob will tell you, that's just the daredevil in me.
